1. Definitions and Parties

These terms govern the service contract between you ("the Client") and Quill & Co Ltd ("the Company"), a registered boutique housekeeping firm operating in England & Wales under Company No. 12948211. By scheduling a recurring service or booking a singular deep clean with us, you fully accept these conditions.

2. Service Performance

Our professional housekeepers are trained to clean residential properties in strict accordance with the customized checklist compiled during your consultation. If you require special attention for delicate items (such as valuable art, antique wood, or specialty marble), please provide written care instructions prior to the visit.

3. Bookings, Billing and Payments

• Signature Cleans are billed at our standard hourly rates and invoiced on a monthly or weekly basis as agreed.
• Deep and seasonal cleans require a secure flat-rate deposit paid at the time of reservation.
• Payments must be cleared via bank transfer or credit card within 48 hours of invoice receipt. We do not accept cash.

4. Cancellations and Postponements

Our domestic staff schedule their shifts and transport hours days in advance. Therefore, any cancellations, reschedules, or booking amendments must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to your slot. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service charge.

5. Liability and Indemnity

While we operate with extreme care, minor accidents can happen. Quill & Co carries comprehensive public liability insurance coverage up to £5,000,000. In the rare event of damage, we must be notified within 24 hours of the service, complete with photographic evidence. We cannot accept liability for fragile antiques, unstable fixtures, or improperly secured mirrors that are not disclosed on the original checklist.

6. Jurisdiction & Applicable Law

These terms are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
